Board Certification: The Stamp of Quality
Certification in a particular area of specialty by The Florida Bar is the ultimate stamp of competency, qualification, and professionalism. Board Certification is awarded only after extensive proven trial experience, a minimum of five years of active practice, recommendations from trial judges and fellow attorneys, successful completion of an examination, and demonstration of a high degree of professionalism. At Wooten, Honeywell, Kimbrough, Gibson, Doherty & Normand, we are proud that all of our lawyers are Board Certified in the area of Civil Trial Practice.

ABOTA: The Best of the Best
Five members of Wooten, Honeywell, Kimbrough, Gibson, Doherty & Normand have been awarded the distinction of membership in the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), which recognizes some of the most qualified trial lawyers in the country. We are honored to have five members of our firm inducted into the Central Florida Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates, as well as having Dan Honeywell and D.L. Kimbrough, Jr. serve as its President and Council Wooten serve as a National Representative.

Bar Leadership
Members of the firm have demonstrated their commitment to improving the legal profession and the system of justice by serving in multiple capacities of bar leadership. Dan Honeywell has served as President of the Orange County Bar and as members of the Board of Governors of The Florida Bar. Council Wooten has served as Chairman of the Trial Lawyers Section of The Florida Bar. Patricia Doherty has been President of the Central Florida Association of Women Lawyers. Orman Kimbrough has served as President of the Young Lawyers Section, and Dan Honeywell and D.L. Kimbrough have served as President of the American Board of Trial Advocates. Four of our partners have served on or chaired local Grievance Committees.
