About the Firm: Our AttorneysCLAY W. SCHACHTPractice Areas: Mr. Schacht received his B.A. from the University of Central Florida in 1990 and his J.D. from Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1994, where he was a member of the Hamline Law Review. He joined the law firm of Wooten, Honeywell, Kimbrough, Gibson, Doherty and Normand, P.A. in July of 2003 Born May 28, 1962 in Rochester, Minnesota. J.D. from Hamline University School of Law,1994. Admitted to the Florida Bar on March 17, 1995. Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Schacht worked for the Orange County, Florida Public Defender’s Office in 1994 and 1995, first as a certified legal intern, then as an assistant public defender, before joining the law firm of Beers, Jack, Tudhope and Wyatt, where he specialized in first and third-party liability and personal injury protection defense. In 1999, he joined the Zurich Staff Legal team in the Orlando office as a trial attorney where he continued to practice liability and personal injury protection defense and also defended worker’s compensation cases. He is a member of the Orange County and Florida Bar Associations, is admitted to practice in the Federal District Court for the Middle District of Florida and has appeared before the Fifth District Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Florida.
